For the love of money is a root of all kinds of
evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have
pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
A tale told over two decades of a young Israeli
immigrant who got his piece of the American dream.
First seen in Tel Aviv in 1973, young Isaac works in the illegal casino
run from the back of his family’s bar. It’s a
hangout for local gangsters and the family’s fate is sealed
as this seedy underbelly of society seems to find them wherever they go.
A true tale of friendship, family and triumph of the human spirit,
Isaac’s story shows us that anything is possible if you do
what’s right and follow your instincts.
