| The Mummy | |
| USA,
1999, ca. 127 Min.
As punishment for killing Pharaoh Seti and sleeping with his mistress, Egyptian priest Imhotep was mummified alive and cursed. But in 1923 he is inadvertently resurrected by treasure hunters and must be stopped before he can wreak his final vengeance on the world. "The Mummy" is the remake of the horror movie of the same name from 1933 with Boris Karloff. In 1995 Universal Studios decided to resurrect the mummy with the help of Industrial, Light & Magic, #1 in special efffects. The result is a great adventure movie in the tradition of "Raiders Of The Lost Arc" with lots of digitalized horror, directed and written by Stephen Sommers, with Brendan Fraser in the leading role. |

| Oded
Fehr plays Ardeth Bay, leader of the Med-jai, pharao's sacred bodyguards.
For 3000 years they guarded the City of the Dead. He "who shall not be
named" should never be discovered and raised from the undead, even if meant
sacrificing innocent lives using scimitars and guns.
Oded Fehr narrates in the beginning of the film. Enjoy his great and sexy voice! |
